Bank of Canada's Next Rate Announcement July 24th, 2024

Bank of Canada published its 2024 schedule for policy interest rate announcements.

The Bank of Canada has released its 2024 schedule for policy interest rate announcements and the quarterly Monetary Policy Report. It has also confirmed the dates for interest rate announcements for the rest of the year. Additionally, the Bank has published the schedule for the Business Outlook Survey, Canadian Survey of Consumer Expectations, and the Financial Stability Report.

The scheduled dates for the interest rate announcements for 2024 are as follows:

Wednesday, January 24*
Wednesday, March 6
Wednesday, April 10*
Wednesday, June 5
Wednesday, July 24*
Wednesday, September 4
Wednesday, October 23*
Wednesday, December 11

The scheduled dates for the interest rate announcements from September 2023 through December 2023 are reconfirmed as follows:

Wednesday, October 25*
Wednesday, December 6

*Monetary Policy Report published

All interest rate announcements will take place at 10:00 (ET), and the Monetary Policy Report will be published concurrently with the January, April, July and October rate announcements.
